Tasting Notes Appearance: Pale amber with off-white foamy head. Aroma: Orange, lemon, tangerine and grapefruit (including pith), papaya, and pineapple dominate, even from several feet away. Close whiffs give some grassy dry-hop character with malt difficult to discern. Flavour: Lemon and tangerine, pith, papaya, resin. Biscuity, toasty malt character does show up underneath the hops. Assertive but balanced bitterness for style. Mouthfeel: Resinous and mouth-coating with some of the drying characteristics of pith on a medium-bodied base. Notable Ingredients Hops: Amarillo, Lemondrop, Mosaic prominently featured. Malts: Red Shed biscuit malt. A small portion of flaked rye adds haze and a spicy character. Other: Double dry hopped (dry hopped in two stages), with over 3lb of hops per barrel of beer (~110L), equivalent to 1.2kg/hL.
