After 14 months of aging in barrels (30% new oak), traces of smoked and toasted notes are there, but the focus remains on the fruity and ripe character of this cabernet from the Las Vertientes zone on the western side of the Aconcagua Valley. The fine and penetrating tannins, the moderate acidity in just the right dose to refresh, and the deliciously herbal finish are all there, along with the freshness achieved by harvesting early to preserve the fruit and acidity in a warm year.
