Sort of a Marzen, once was a lager, certainly a riddle. This beer has a pronounced sweet, malty base teeter tottering with a touch of floral, noble hops. The maltiness goes on to perform a clown ballet with a large infusion of real vanilla beans resulting in a flavour reminiscent of birthday cake. A clean, crisp fermentation makes this a light drinking session and/or dessert beer ideal for a patio, apres dinner, or a bouncy castle. Disclaimer: no clowns were harmed in the brewing of Cakeface.
